Renown Health Proud to Open New Family Clinic in South Reno

Renown Health has announced plans to open a new family health clinic in South Reno that will be located inside The Summit Mall. It will offer many primary care services and will have a fully stocked laboratory. Additional medical services will be offered as the clinic grows.

Renown Medical Group’s Medical Director Dr. McCormack explained that the clinic was designed to provide a serene, inviting, and comfortable setting for patients seeking its services. She was speaking during a phone interview with NNBW. She added that the clinic would have the flexibility to allow additional services including a furnished conference room. It will have 11 staff members with the possibility of adding a nurse practitioner and a primary care physician.

The project’s general contractor was Shaheen Beauchamp Builders LLC based in Carson City. Eric Fong from MBA Architects + Interior Design did all the architectural and design work. Structural design work was done by Forbes Engineering while MSA Engineering Consultants handled all the mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineering to learn more: https://www.indeed.com/cmp/Renown-Health/reviews click here.

According to Dr. McCormack, Renown Medical Group is planning to push for more primary care clinics in the region because of its growing population. Renown Health now has 12 clinics located throughout Carson City, Fallon, Reno-Sparks, and Fernley. It also has a clinic in Caughlin Ranch.

Renown Health

Renown Health is a locally owned, non-profit healthcare network of clinics located throughout Northern Nevada. The clinics have over 6,500 employees. Since they operate as non-profits, all their earnings are reinvested into people, equipment, and programs that ensure better service to all the communities in which the clinics are based.

The clinics have no shareholders to satisfy, and their sole purpose is serving the medical health needs of patients. Moreover, the local communities have a big say on how they spend their money. Over 150 local community members sit on Renown boardrooms while others act in advisory capacities. Renown Clinics have partnered with Stanford Children’s Health, Stanford University School of Medicine, and Stanford Health Care.
