Jose Borghi is a well-known marketing guru who works for the leading Brazilian advertising ad agency, Mullen Lowe and became popular after the success of the Mammals of Parmalat campaign that he designed and executed. With years of experience in the publicity field, he has set himself apart from others by working immensely hard in all of his projects and being successful. It is because of his passion and dedication to the field that is has become the co-chief executive officer of the biggest advertising company in Brazil, Mullen Lowe Brasil.
Jose Borghi started working in the advertising industry from the year 1988 as an agent in the advertising agency, Standard Ogilvy that was among the top advertising agencies in the 1980’s. He then went on to many other organizations such as Talent, FCB, and Leo Burnett. DM9DDB recognized his talents and hired him, where he independently organized advertising campaigns for his clients after being appointed in 1994. After working with the company for a little over five years, he was again hired by Leo Burnett to be the Chief Creative Officer. Due to his success with numerous campaigns, he soon became the CEO at the company in 2001. But, that was not enough for him, and he started his firm BorghiErh in 2002. Due to the popularity of the company in a short period, he merged with Lowe and Partners and became the Chief Creative Officer of the new corporation. Few years down the line, the company changed its name to Borghi Lowe that seemed more appropriate. He also became the head of the Mullen Lowe Group in 2015.
Jose Borghi’s contribution to the advertising and publicity industry for over two decades has been immense. During this time, he won many awards but that did not make him proud, and he continued to work with the same diligence to perfection. He went on to earn many significant awards at international and national events. He won the award for the most Professional Ad Expert in 2009 by the Brazilian Advertising Professionals Associations. He also received another award, the Advertising Professional Award, from ABP in 2014.
