Goettl Air Conditioning is a well known Phoenix brand, of the city’s 134 year history, Goettl has been around for 76 years now. Founded on February 14, 1939 (In Business Mag) the company has retained its place in the HVAC or heating, ventilation and air conditioning industry. The Phoenix HVAC company’s website states that they specialize in “installation of central air units, heat pumps, ductless mini splits, air cleaners, humidifiers, UV germicidal lights, furnaces, radiant heating systems, among numerous others.” (Goettl) They are trusted for both residential and commercial services and even used to produce their own Goettl brand air conditioning units.
Since then, the company has been purchased by a Memphis based company, American Residential Services (ARS) LLC owned by Ken Goodrich (East Valley Tribune). Ken Goodrich and ARS chose not to impose any lay-offs and to keep all Goettl employees as well as management team. Dan Burke, who started with Goettl in 1989, will maintain the position of CEO. (East Valley Tribune) Customers of the long standing HVAC company won’t have to worry about a change in quality of service they receive. On the contrary, according to the director for marketing for ARS, the Goettl may even start to manufacture air conditioning units again.(East Valley Tribune) A step in the right direction made possible by the ARS buy-out.
Goett lAir Conditioning has been one of the most trusted companies in Phoenix for years and in 2003 it moved to Tempe. Subsequently in 2014 Goettl was recognized as a finalist for the Chamber of Commerce IMPACT Award, (In Business Mag) but the company is more than just its history and awards. Customers are satisfied with this capable company, praising the promptness of repair, knowledge of the service providers, as well as professionalism and positive attitude of the company as a whole.
